What is ifvceMaxFaxModemRate?
This read-write setting caps the fax or modem transmission rate this voice channel will relay, choosing among values such as rate-14400, rate-12000, rate-9600, or rate-7200. Lowering the cap can improve reliability of fax/modem relay over a marginal or heavily loaded link at the cost of slower fax transmission speed. For example, if faxes over this channel frequently fail on a congested WAN link, lowering this object from rate-14400 to rate-9600 can improve completion reliability.
