What is ifvceInterface?
This read-write setting configures the electrical interface type of this voice port as fxs, e-and-m, or fxo depending on what it connects to. FXS is used for a POTS line or an FXO device, e-and-m connects to a PBX trunk side, and FXO connects to a CO line or a PBX station side, so the choice must match the attached equipment's own interface type. For example, connecting this port to the trunk side of an on-site PBX requires setting this object to e-and-m(3) rather than fxs.
