Description: This parameter specifies how the dial digits are sent to the remote unit for forwarding to the attached device such as a PBX. It can do it using pulse dial or Tone.
What is ifvceFwdType?
This read-write setting chooses whether forwarded dial digits are sent to the remote unit using tone (DTMF) or pulse dialing. The choice must match what the attached device, such as a PBX, is able to receive, since a PBX expecting pulse digits will not recognize tone digits and vice versa. For example, forwarding digits to an older rotary-based PBX extension would require setting this object to pulse(2) rather than tone.
