Description: if this parameter is enable, the unit will generate IPX SAP frame on that interface every minute, otherwise the unit will discard all IPX SAP frame received and no one will be generated on that port.
What is iflanIpxSap?
This read-write disable/enable setting controls whether the unit generates an IPX SAP (Service Advertising Protocol) frame on this LAN interface once every minute; when disabled, received IPX SAP frames are discarded and none are generated on this port. It governs whether IPX service advertisements, such as announcing available Novell NetWare servers, are exchanged over this LAN segment. For example, an administrator decommissioning IPX services on a segment would set this object to disable(1) to stop advertising and processing SAP frames there.
