Description: The maximum nember of bridges that a broadcast frame can cross on the way to its destination. The unit discard any frame with a routing information field that exceeds this limits. This parameter is required for source routing of Tocken-Ring data via the unit. You must specify the MAX HOP if the unit acts as an intermediary bridge to reach a remote unit that support a Token-Ring LAN.
