Module: CLARENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CLARENT-MIB::remoteGWId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2858.8.2.1.26

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: ID of the remote gateway, if the port is connected

What is remoteGWId?

This read-only integer reports the unique identifier of the remote Clarent Gateway that this local port is currently connected to, valid only while the port is in an active call. Combined with remoteChannel, it lets an admin fully identify the far-end resource involved in a specific call for cross-gateway troubleshooting. For example, an admin diagnosing a dropped call could read remoteGWId to know exactly which of several remote gateways in the network was the far end of that call.
