loadCommand

Module: CLARENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CLARENT-MIB::loadCommand

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2858.100.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-write

Description: Initiate a LOAD command. In the SET command, specify the package name.

What is loadCommand?

Setting this string to a package name issues a LOAD command, instructing the Clarent gateway to load a package into active use as part of the package lifecycle. Administrators use it after a package has been downloaded and committed, to actually bring the new package into operation on the device. For example, after committing a firmware package, the admin SETs loadCommand to that package's name to activate it operationally.
