Description: Remote maintenance state of the IP connection between gateways.
What is ipPortRemMState?
This read-only enumeration reports the maintenance state of the IP connection as seen from the remote gateway's end, mirroring ipPortLocMState but for the far side of the inter-gateway IP link. Admins compare local and remote IP maintenance state together to pinpoint whether an IP connectivity problem originates at this gateway or the remote one. For example, ipPortLocMState showing inService while ipPortRemMState shows ooSMaint indicates the remote gateway has deliberately taken its side of the IP link down for maintenance.
