gwStatsInterval

Module: CLARENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CLARENT-MIB::gwStatsInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2858.100.2.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Interval, in minutes, between gateway statistic messages from the gateway to the Command Center

What is gwStatsInterval?

This integer sets how many minutes elapse between successive statistics messages the gateway sends to the Command Center. Tuning it lets an admin balance monitoring freshness against the management traffic load the reporting generates. For example, setting gwStatsInterval to 5 gives near-real-time stats, while a value of 60 reduces reporting overhead on a busy gateway.
