What is gwSpansPerBoard?
This read-only integer reports how many T1/E1 spans a single telephony board in the gateway supports. It's a key capacity-planning figure an admin combines with gwPortsPerSpan and gwNumBoards to compute total system port capacity. For example, a 'quad-T1' board reporting 4 spans confirms its name, each span in turn contributing whatever gwPortsPerSpan reports toward the gateway's overall capacity.
