Module: CLARENT-MIB
OID (symbolic): CLARENT-MIB::gwBoardType
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2858.1.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Type of boards loaded in Gateway
What is gwBoardType?
This read-only enumeration identifies the type of telephony interface board(s) installed in the gateway, such as quad-T1, quad-E1, or one of several ISDN-variant boards. Admins check this when planning capacity or troubleshooting, since the board type determines how many spans and ports the gateway physically supports and which signaling, ISDN versus non-ISDN, is in play. For example, a gateway reporting quad-E1-ISDN(8) tells the admin it's provisioned for four E1 spans with ISDN signaling, quite different in capacity and behavior from a plain quad-T1 board.
