What is gkLogFileDir?

This read-write string specifies the directory where the Clarent Gatekeeper writes its log files when file logging is enabled. Admins set it to control where logs accumulate, for example to point at a partition with more free space. For example, setting gkLogFileDir to "/var/log/clarent/gk" ensures gatekeeper logs land in a dedicated, easy-to-monitor directory.
