OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.48.54.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The vlanVoiceAgingTimeout indicates the time (in units of minutes) from when the last OUI MAC was ageout from the FDB the port will be removed from the Voice VLAN.

The default value for vlanVoiceAgingTimeout object is 1440 minutes (24 hours).

The value of this object must be restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization of the management system.

What is vlanVoiceAgingTimeout?

This read-write INTEGER (1 to 43200 minutes, default 1440) sets how long after the last voice-OUI MAC address ages out of the forwarding database before the port is removed from the Voice VLAN, and this setting must be restored from non-volatile storage after a reboot. An admin tunes this to control how quickly a port that stops seeing VoIP phone traffic gets pulled back out of the Voice VLAN. For example, setting vlanVoiceAgingTimeout to 60 minutes removes a port from the Voice VLAN just an hour after its last detected phone traffic, rather than the default 24 hours.
