OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-vlan-MIB::vlanMaxTableNumber

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

What is vlanMaxTableNumber?

This read-only INTEGER reports the maximum number of VLAN tables the device supports. An admin or provisioning tool checks this to know the upper bound on VLAN table scale before attempting to configure a large number of VLANs. For example, if vlanMaxTableNumber reports 256, the admin knows not to plan for more VLAN table entries than that on this device.
