rsPingInetDelay

Module: CISCOSB-rndApplications

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-rndApplications::rsPingInetDelay

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.4.2.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies the minimum amount of time (in milliseconds) to wait before sending the next packet in a sequence after receiving a response. The actual delay may be greater due to internal task scheduling.

What is rsPingInetDelay?

This read-write INTEGER (0 to 3600000, in milliseconds) specifies the minimum wait before sending the next packet after a response, in this IPv4/IPv6-capable ping sequence, though actual delay may be longer due to task scheduling. An admin adjusts this to pace an address-family-agnostic ping test appropriately. For example, setting rsPingInetDelay to 500 milliseconds spaces successive IPv6 pings roughly half a second apart.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.4.2.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-rndApplications::rsPingInetDelay

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.4.2.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-rndApplications::rsPingInetDelay.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.4.2.1.6.1 i <value>
