rndRowStatusObjectId
Module: CISCOSB-rndApplications
OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-rndApplications::rndRowStatusObjectId
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.2.8.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OBJECT IDENTIFIER
Access: read-write
Description: The object id of the row status field. If the rndRowStatusVariableName is a name present in the MIBs loaded into the MLNMS, this MIB variable is not required, but if given, it must match the object id known to the MLNMS. The variable identified by rndRowStatusVariableName and/or rndRowStatusObjectId must be a read-write MIB variable of type INTEGER which belongs to an entry (i.e, is a child of a MIB variable of type SEQUENCE).
What is rndRowStatusObjectId?
This read-write OBJECT IDENTIFIER gives the OID of the row-status field named in rndRowStatusVariableName, used to disambiguate it when the name alone might not resolve, and it must reference a read-write INTEGER variable that is a child of a table entry. An admin supplies this when the row-status variable isn't among the MIBs already loaded on the Mid-Level station, so the station knows exactly which OID to act on. For example, providing the OID alongside the name ensures the station targets the correct row-status variable even if it can't resolve the symbolic name on its own.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.2.8.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-rndApplications::rndRowStatusObjectId
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.2.8.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-rndApplications::rndRowStatusObjectId.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.2.8.1.2.1 s <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> rndRowStatusObjectId.1
