rndRowDeleteValue

Module: CISCOSB-rndApplications

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-rndApplications::rndRowDeleteValue

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.2.8.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The value of the variable identified by rndRowStatusVariableName and/or rndRowStatusObjectId, which, if present in a SNMP SET PDU, will cause the deletion of the conceptual row instance which the SET MIB variable instance belongs.

What is rndRowDeleteValue?

This read-write INTEGER specifies the value that, if written into the row-status variable identified by rndRowStatusVariableName or rndRowStatusObjectId via an SNMP SET, will cause deletion of the conceptual row that variable belongs to. An admin configures this so the Mid-Level station knows which numeric value means "delete" for a given table's row-status semantics, since different MIBs can use different conventions. For example, setting rndRowDeleteValue to 6 tells the station that writing 6 to that row's status field is how to delete that row.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.2.8.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-rndApplications::rndRowDeleteValue

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.2.8.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-rndApplications::rndRowDeleteValue.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.35.2.8.1.3.1 i <value>
