What is rndMonitoredObjectName?
This read-write DisplayString (0 to 20 characters) names the MIB object type being monitored, as it appears in its defining MIB module, optionally qualified as <module>:<object> to avoid ambiguity between MIBs that reuse names. An admin fills this in (or leaves it blank if rndMonitoredObjectIdentifier is set instead) to specify exactly which SNMP variable the Mid-Level station should poll. For example, setting rndMonitoredObjectName to "IF-MIB:ifInErrors" tells the station to poll that specific error counter.
