Module: CISCOSB-rlBrgMulticast-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-rlBrgMulticast-MIB::rlIgmpMldSnoopVlanAdminStartupQueryInterval
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.55.5.5.1.29
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Unsigned32
Access: read-write
Description: This variable represents the interval between General Queries sent by a Querier on startup.
What is rlIgmpMldSnoopVlanAdminStartupQueryInterval?
This read-write value lets an administrator configure the interval, in milliseconds, between the extra General Queries the switch's querier sends when it first becomes active on this VLAN, to quickly build up initial membership state. An administrator shortens this to make the switch learn active multicast listeners faster right after a reboot or querier failover. For example, reducing rlIgmpMldSnoopVlanAdminStartupQueryInterval speeds up how quickly the switch rebuilds its multicast membership table after a querier restart.
