Description: The amount of time that should pass before aging out an entry in the rlIgmpSnoopMembershipTable for this vlan, after recieving a leave/exclude message from the port of the entry. DEFVAL { rlIgmpMldSnoopVlanAdminLastMemberQueryCount * rlIgmpMldSnoopVlanAdminLastMemberQueryInterval }
What is rlIgmpMldSnoopVlanAdminLeaveTimeOut?
This read-write value lets an administrator directly override the leave-processing timeout in milliseconds for this VLAN, rather than relying on the value derived from Last Member Query Count times Last Member Query Interval. An administrator sets this explicitly when they want precise control over how long a multicast stream keeps flowing to a port after that port sends a leave message. For example, setting rlIgmpMldSnoopVlanAdminLeaveTimeOut to a very small custom value makes a multicast video stream stop almost immediately once a viewer's leave is received, overriding the formula-derived default.
