Description: The ports that overrides dynamic configuration and prevents multicast data forwarding for the group or group and source to these ports.

What is rlBrgStaticIpMulticastForbiddenPorts?

This read-write bitmask defines ports that must never receive a specific IPv4 multicast group's traffic, overriding whatever dynamic IGMP learning would otherwise allow. An administrator uses this to explicitly block a multicast stream from reaching certain ports for security or bandwidth reasons, even if a device on that port sends an IGMP join. For example, adding a guest-network port to rlBrgStaticIpMulticastForbiddenPorts for an internal-only multicast group stops that stream from ever leaking to a device connected there.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-rlBrgMulticast-MIB::rlBrgStaticIpMulticastForbiddenPorts

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.116.3.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCOSB-rlBrgMulticast-MIB::rlBrgStaticIpMulticastForbiddenPorts.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.116.3.1.5.1 s <value>
