rlEventsMaskMask

Module: CISCOSB-SNMP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-SNMP-MIB::rlEventsMaskMask

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.98.7.4.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: The semantics of the rlEventsMask is an array of timestamps (each 4 octets containing one time stamp). Each timestamp is in TimeTicks units encoded in network order. Thus the mask can contain up to 40 timestamps. If a place in the array is empty it will contain 0. Each timestamp shows the time of the last occurrence of the event whose rlEventIndexKey in the rlEventsTable for this client id is the same as its index in the array. Each for bytes of the rlEventsMask will contain the timestamp in TimeTicks units encoded in network order of the last time the event

What is rlEventsMaskMask?

This read-only OCTET STRING packs up to 40 four-octet TimeTicks timestamps, each recording the last occurrence time of the event whose index in the array matches its rlEventIndexKey, with unused slots holding zero. Admins care because decoding this single field lets a poller learn, in one query, exactly when each of its up to 40 monitored events last fired, instead of polling each one separately. For example, a monitoring script decodes the byte offset for event index 5 and finds a nonzero timestamp, immediately confirming that event has fired without a separate query.
