An admin sets this as the low end of the WRED curve for the most protected traffic class, typically making it the highest minimum threshold of the three DP classes so DP0 traffic is the last to experience any random early drops under congestion. For example, setting this minimum threshold to 70 percent means the device will not begin randomly dropping any DP0 packets until the queue is at least 70 percent full, well after DP1 or DP2 WRED dropping may have already started.
