This read-only object reports the PnP agent's current lifecycle state, such as bootup, discovery, discoveryWait, session, sessionWait, disabled, or notReady. An admin polls this to understand exactly where a device is in the zero-touch provisioning process when diagnosing a stalled or unexpected provisioning outcome. For example, seeing a device stuck in discoveryWait rather than progressing to session would tell an admin the device isn't finding a PnP server and is instead cycling through backoff retries.
