This read-write object specifies the source address the device uses when initiating communications to the PnP server, letting an admin control which local interface or address the provisioning traffic originates from. An admin sets this when the device has multiple interfaces and provisioning traffic must egress from a specific one, such as a dedicated management interface. For example, an admin might set this to the device's out-of-band management IP so PnP traffic doesn't compete with in-band production traffic.
