Module: CISCOSB-BONJOUR-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-BONJOUR-MIB::rlBonjourL2Mode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.114.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: specify whether the L2 interfaces listed in rlBonjourL2Table means include bonjour on these L2 interfaces once they: rlBonjourPublish must be on at least one service should be enabled L2 must be present and UP have at least one IP on it OR exclude bonjour on these L2 interfaces even if they answer to all the conditions above.

What is rlBonjourL2Mode?

This read-write INTEGER (include(1)/exclude(2)) specifies whether the L2 interfaces listed in rlBonjourL2Table should have Bonjour included on them once they meet all the conditions (publishing on, at least one service enabled, the L2 interface present and up, and having an IP), or excluded even if all those conditions are met. An admin cares because it lets specific VLANs be carved out of, or explicitly opted into, Bonjour discovery regardless of the general publishing settings. For example, an admin who wants Bonjour active everywhere except a sensitive management VLAN would list that VLAN and set this object to exclude.
