zoneDefaultZoneQos

Module: CISCO-ZS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-ZS-MIB::zoneDefaultZoneQos

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.294.1.1.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies if qos attribute for the default zone on this VSAN is enabled. If this object is set to 'true', then qos attribute for the default zone on this VSAN is enabled. If this object is set to 'false', then qos attribute for the default zone on this VSAN is disabled.

If this attribute is enabled for this default zone, then only traffic with the configured priority level will be allowed between the members of this default zone. The priority can be specified by means of the corresponding instance of zoneDefaultZoneQosPriority object.

What is zoneDefaultZoneQos?

This read-write TruthValue enables or disables the QoS attribute for the default zone on a VSAN; when enabled, only traffic at the configured priority level is allowed between default-zone members. Admins use it to enforce priority-based traffic control even for devices that fall into the fabric's default zone rather than an explicit zone. For example, an admin wanting consistent QoS enforcement fabric-wide, including devices left in the default zone, would enable this object and set an appropriate priority via zoneDefaultZoneQosPriority.
