OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.294.1.1.31.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: ZoneCopyProtocol

Access: read-create

Description: The protocol to be used for the copy of the active zone set on this VSAN. If the copy needs to take place on the local device, then the value of this object will be ignored.

What is zoneCopyProto?

This read-create ZoneCopyProtocol selects the protocol used to copy the active zone set off this VSAN to a remote destination; the value is ignored if the copy target is the local device itself. Admins set this to choose how a zoning backup or migration file transfer is carried out, e.g. SCP versus TFTP. For example, before copying a zone set to a remote archive server, the admin sets this object to the SCP protocol value to ensure the transfer is encrypted.
