Description: The histogram data is updated every p2mpUpdateRate seconds. When set to true(1), the latest histogram data set is summed with the previous histogram data set and the p2mpHistSummaryTable will reflect cumulative values.
When set to false(2), only the latest data set is made available and the p2mpHistSummarytable will reflect the latest values.
What is p2mpPeriodicSum?
This read-create object controls whether successive histogram updates accumulate cumulatively (true) into the p2mpHistSummaryTable or whether each update simply replaces the previous data with only the latest snapshot (false). An admin chooses cumulative mode to see an overall distribution building over the full collection period, or latest-only mode to see the most recent interval's behavior in isolation. For example, tracking a slowly worsening RF condition over hours would call for setting p2mpPeriodicSum to true so the histogram reflects the full accumulated history rather than resetting each update.
