p2mpHistStatus

Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-P2MP-RF-METRICS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-P2MP-RF-METRICS-MIB::p2mpHistStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.180.1.1.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CwrCollectionStatus

Access: read-only

Description: This object represents the current state of this histogram. Once the histogram collection is complete the status changes to statusCaptured and the data is available for use. None of the parameters of a histogram specification may be modified when the specification is in statusInProgress.

A statusCaptured or statusStopped histogram must be actionClear'ed before it can be restarted.

The histogram may be read accurately between the p2mpUpdateRate intervals. If the read spans across the update time data from the previous and current updates can be mingled.

What is p2mpHistStatus?

This read-only object reports the current lifecycle state of a histogram specification, transitioning to statusCaptured once collection finishes and the data becomes available for use. The desc specifies that none of the histogram's configuration parameters can be changed while the status is statusInProgress, and a captured or stopped histogram must be cleared via p2mpHistAction before it can be restarted. For example, an admin polling p2mpHistStatus and seeing statusInProgress would know to wait rather than attempt to modify p2mpCollDuration or other settings on that same entry.
