Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-IF-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-IF-MIB::cwrTlToneSelection

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.136.1.8.2.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: This object identifies which tone in a burst should be used to sample data for the timeline. cwrCirculate(1): The successive tone will be used for every successive burst. cwrAverage(2): The value of every tone in a burst will be averaged. cwrspecific(3): The identified tone is used. DEFVAL { cwrAverage }

What is cwrTlToneSelection?

An INTEGER enumeration (cwrCirculate, cwrAverage, cwrSpecific), read-create, choosing which tone within a multi-tone burst is sampled for this timeline, defaulting to averaging all tones. It lets the timeline reflect a single problem tone, a rotating sequence of tones, or an averaged composite, depending on what the engineer is diagnosing. For example, leaving cwrTlToneSelection at its default cwrAverage gives a smoothed timeline suitable for general health tracking, while switching to cwrSpecific would be used to chase one suspected bad tone.
