Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-IF-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-IF-MIB::cwrLink1HrESAlarmThresh

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.136.1.6.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the one hour Codeword Error Second threshold. When the number of Codeword Error Seconds in a 1 Operational Hour period exceeds this limit cwrTrapLink1HrThresh trap will be generated. Time measurement starts after the first operational second.

What is cwrLink1HrESAlarmThresh?

This read-write Unsigned32 sets the number of Codeword Error Seconds allowed within a rolling 1 operational hour period before the cwrTrapLink1HrThresh trap is generated, with the measurement window starting after the first operational second. An admin tunes this to control how sensitive the hourly alarm is to error-second activity on the link. For example, an admin who wants earlier warning of degrading link quality might lower cwrLink1HrESAlarmThresh so the trap fires after fewer error seconds accumulate within the hour.
