Module: CISCO-WIRELESS-IF-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WIRELESS-IF-MIB::cwrHistStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.136.1.7.1.1.15

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CwrCollectionStatus

Access: read-only

Description: This object represents the current state of this histogram collection. Once the histogram collection is complete the status changes statusCaptured and the data is available for use. None of the parameters of a histogram specification may be modified when the specification is in statusInProgress. A statusCaptured or statusStopped histogram must be actionClear'ed before another histogram specification may be started. The histogram may be read accurately between the cwrUpdateRate intervals. If the read spans across the update time data from the previous and current updates can be mingled.

What is cwrHistStatus?

A read-only CwrCollectionStatus reporting the current lifecycle state of this histogram collection, such as in-progress or captured. Parameters cannot be changed while the status is statusInProgress, so a management application must check this value before attempting to reconfigure the histogram. For example, a polling script would wait until cwrHistStatus reads statusCaptured before fetching the finished bin data, rather than pulling a half-filled histogram.
