It falls toward the longer end of the per-byte-length error counter family, so a rising value here is a stronger indicator of significant channel disturbance than a rise in the shorter-length counters. For example, an admin noticing cwrArq6ByteErrs climbing steadily might correlate it against cwrRfTemperature or cwrRfSupplyVoltageState to rule out an equipment-side cause.
