cwtRowStatus

Module: CISCO-WAN-TOPOLOGY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-TOPOLOGY-MIB::cwtRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.234.1.2.1.1.15

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: In our implementation, we'll be supporting 'active', 'createAndGo', and 'destroy'. The value of this variable is set to 'active' by the managed system for each valid entry. If a management station wants to delete an entry from the database, this value is set to 'destroy'. If a management station wants to create a new entry, this value is set to 'createAndGo'.

What is cwtRowStatus?

This read-write RowStatus, supporting active, createAndGo, and destroy in this implementation, controls the lifecycle of an entry in the topology database table: the agent sets it to active for valid entries, and a management station sets it to destroy to delete an entry or createAndGo to add a new one. An admin manipulates this to explicitly add or remove nodes from the topology database rather than relying solely on automatic PNNI discovery. For example, an admin cleaning up a stale topology entry for a decommissioned switch sets its cwtRowStatus to destroy to remove it from the table.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.234.1.2.1.1.15
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-TOPOLOGY-MIB::cwtRowStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.234.1.2.1.1.15.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-TOPOLOGY-MIB::cwtRowStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.234.1.2.1.1.15.1 s <value>
