srcpPeerMaxPduSize

Module: CISCO-WAN-SRCP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-SRCP-MIB::srcpPeerMaxPduSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.11.1.1.3.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used to configure the maximum UDP PDU(Protocol Data Unit) size, in octets, that may be used for SRCP communications with the peer.

This value may not be configurable for all agents.

If MGC Redundancy is supported, this object is not effective. Instead, the user should use srcpPeerGrpMaxPduSize.

What is srcpPeerMaxPduSize?

This writable value configures the maximum UDP PDU size, in octets, allowed for SRCP communications with this peer, though not all agents support changing it, and it is ignored if MGC redundancy is enabled (srcpPeerGrpMaxPduSize is used instead). It lets an admin tune how large a single SRCP message can be for this specific peer connection, which can matter for networks with restrictive MTU or fragmentation concerns. For example, an admin dealing with a WAN path prone to fragmentation might reduce this value to keep SRCP messages within a safer packet size.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.11.1.1.3.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-SRCP-MIB::srcpPeerMaxPduSize

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.11.1.1.3.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-SRCP-MIB::srcpPeerMaxPduSize.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.11.1.1.3.1.6.1 i <value>
