Description: Number of consecutive end-to-end F5 OAM loopback cell responses that are not received in order to change a PVC connection state to down. This object only applies if OAM management is enabled (i.e. cwrChanOAMManage = true).
What is cwrChanOamRetryDownCount?
This object sets the number of consecutive missing end-to-end F5 OAM loopback cell responses required before the channel's PVC connection state is changed to down, and it only applies when OAM management is enabled. An administrator tunes this value to balance fast failure detection against false alarms from occasional dropped OAM cells. For example, setting this to 5 would require five consecutive missed OAM loopback responses before the PVC is declared down, avoiding a false failure on a single lost cell.
