Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the SMB AO. The last discontinuity time is indicated by the value of cwoAoStatsLastResetTime for the SMB AO.
What is cwoAoSmbxStatsRACacheHitRate?
This read-only Gauge32, as a percentage from 0 to 100, contains the SMB AO's Read Ahead cache hit rate since it was started, with discontinuities possible at re-initialization, indicated by cwoAoStatsLastResetTime. An admin uses this as the normalized efficiency metric for read-ahead caching, easier to compare across sites or time periods than the raw hit count. A declining hit rate over time would prompt an admin to review whether file access patterns have become less predictable or the cache needs resizing.
