This counter is the aggregation across all four Akamai Connected Cache profile types — bypass, standard, basic, and advanced — of the total number of cache-hit HTTP transactions. It gives an administrator a single top-level figure for overall cache utilization without having to sum the four per-mode transaction counters manually. For example, an administrator building a dashboard could use this one counter, instead of four separate ones, to show total cache-hit volume across every cache profile in use.
