This gauge reports the percentage of total HTTP response time that was saved by cache-hit transactions while the transparent cache profile ran in standard mode. It gives an administrator a normalized view of the latency benefit of standard-mode caching that does not depend on knowing the absolute traffic volume. For example, a steady 30% reading over several days would indicate standard-mode caching is consistently trimming about a third of the response time out of the affected HTTP traffic.
