This gauge reports the percentage of total response bytes that were saved by cache hits while the transparent cache profile operated in standard mode. It helps an administrator see, in relative terms, how much of the overall HTTP payload volume standard-mode caching is offloading from the WAN link. For example, if this percentage is much lower than the standard-mode transaction-hit percentage, it suggests the cached objects tend to be small relative to the objects still being fetched from origin.
