This gauge expresses, as a percentage of total HTTP transactions, how many were cache hits while the transparent cache profile ran in standard mode. It lets an administrator quickly gauge the cache-hit ratio for standard-mode traffic without having to divide the raw hit and total transaction counters manually. For example, a reading of 65% would tell an administrator that roughly two-thirds of standard-mode HTTP requests are being answered from cache rather than the origin server.
