Description: This object indicates the Akamai connected cache statistics for total number of cache-hit transactions that were served from cache in standard mode transparent cache profile. This is a default mode.In this mode, the cache engine also follows the RFC-2616 behavior for cache control headers with the exception of not honoring the client cache override behavior.
What is cwoAoHttpxStatsAKCStdCacheTrans?
This counter tallies the total number of HTTP transactions served from the Akamai Connected Cache while running in standard mode, the default transparent cache profile that follows RFC-2616 cache-control rules except that it ignores the client's own cache-override headers. An administrator monitoring this counter can confirm the standard-mode cache profile is actually being exercised and see how many requests were satisfied without a round trip to the origin server. For example, watching this counter climb steadily over a business day would confirm that branch-office HTTP traffic to a data center is regularly hitting the standard-mode cache instead of always fetching fresh content.
