Type: Gauge32

Access: read-only

Description: This object indicates the percentage of total response time saved for cache-hit HTTP transactions in bypass mode transparent cache profile.

What is cwoAoHttpxStatsAKCBypassRespTimeSavedPercent?

This gauge reports, as a percentage from 0 to 100, how much of the total HTTP response time was saved on cache-hit transactions while the Akamai Connected Cache transparent cache profile was running in bypass mode. Because it is scoped to bypass-mode cache hits specifically, an administrator can use it to judge whether enabling bypass mode is actually shortening client response times compared to fetching content directly from the origin. For example, if this value reads 5% while the standard-mode equivalent reads 40%, it suggests bypass mode is barely improving response times and the cache profile assigned to that traffic may need to be reconsidered.
