Module: CISCO-WAN-OPTIMIZATION-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-OPTIMIZATION-MIB::cwoAoHttpxStatsAKCBypassCacheTrans
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.762.1.3.3.10.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter64
Access: read-only
Description: This object indicates the Akamai connected cache statistics for total number of cache-bypass transactions that were handled in bypass mode transparent cache profile. When bypass mode transparent cache profile is set for a particular hostname, the caching for the hostname specified in a rule is suppressed. In this mode, the cache-engine turns off caching for one or more configured sites.
What is cwoAoHttpxStatsAKCBypassCacheTrans?
This read-only Counter64, in requests, indicates the Akamai connected cache statistics for total number of cache-bypass transactions handled in bypass mode transparent cache profile, where caching for a specified hostname is suppressed and the cache-engine turns off caching for one or more configured sites. An admin uses this to confirm how many transactions for explicitly bypass-configured hostnames actually passed through without caching, verifying the bypass policy is being honored. If this counter stays at zero despite a bypass profile being configured for a busy hostname, an admin would check whether the profile is actually being matched against incoming traffic.
