Module: CISCO-WAN-OPTIMIZATION-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-OPTIMIZATION-MIB::cwoAoCifsxStatsTotalRemoteTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.762.1.3.7.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CiscoMilliSeconds

Access: read-only

Description: This object indicates the total duration of time taken by CIFS AO to process all remote requests since CIFS AO was started.

Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the CIFS AO. The last discontinuity time is indicated by the value of cwoAoStatsLastResetTime for the CIFS AO.

What is cwoAoCifsxStatsTotalRemoteTime?

This object reports the total duration, in milliseconds, that the CIFS AO spent processing all remote requests since it was started, with discontinuities marked by cwoAoStatsLastResetTime. An administrator can use it alongside the remote-request counter to derive the average time each remote CIFS operation is taking, which helps identify WAN or server-side slowness. For example, a disproportionate rise in this total relative to the remote-request count would indicate individual remote file operations are getting slower, not just more frequent.
