Module: CISCO-WAN-OPTIMIZATION-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-OPTIMIZATION-MIB::cwoAoCifsxStatsTotalLocalTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.762.1.3.7.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CiscoMilliSeconds

Access: read-only

Description: This object indicates the total duration of time taken by CIFS AO to process all local requests since CIFS AO was started.

Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the CIFS AO. The last discontinuity time is indicated by the value of cwoAoStatsLastResetTime for the CIFS AO.

What is cwoAoCifsxStatsTotalLocalTime?

This object reports the total duration, in milliseconds, that the CIFS AO spent processing all local requests since it was started, with discontinuities marked by cwoAoStatsLastResetTime. An administrator can compare this to the total remote time to quantify how much faster locally served CIFS operations are compared to those requiring a round trip to the file server. For example, if total local time per request is far lower than total remote time per request, that confirms the CIFS AO's caching is delivering a real latency benefit.
