This gauge reports the target percentage of maximum cache resources that eviction aims to reach once triggered by the resource-count high watermark, at which point eviction stops. An administrator can use this along with the resource-count high watermark to understand how many cached files and directories will be freed during a resource-based eviction cycle. For example, if eviction is triggered at 85% of maximum resources and this low watermark is 60%, the CIFS AO will keep discarding cache entries until resource usage falls back to 60%.
