pxmAtmVcCrossConnectLowAddressType
Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::pxmAtmVcCrossConnectLowAddressType
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.16.11.1.15
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The value of this object identifies the address type of the interface associated with the VC cross-connect that is identified by pxmAtmVcCrossConnectLowIfIndex. If the address type is pxmAtmUni, the first 4 bits of the VPI field is the GFCI and the remaing 12 bits of the VPI field is the VPI. If the address type is pxmAtmNni, the whole 16 bits of the VPI is the VPI. If the address type is the frameRelay, the combination of the VPI field and the VCI field are the DLCI.
What is pxmAtmVcCrossConnectLowAddressType?
This read-only value identifies the address type, ATM UNI, ATM NNI, or Frame Relay, of the low-side interface of this cross-connect, governing how pxmAtmVcCrossConnectLowVpi's bits should be read. Knowing both the low and high address types lets an admin correctly interpret a cross-connect that switches between, say, a UNI access port and an NNI trunk. If the low side is atmUni, the first 4 bits of the reported VPI are GFCI rather than part of the routable VPI value.
