pxmAtmVcCrossConnectH2LOperStatus

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::pxmAtmVcCrossConnectH2LOperStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.16.11.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The value of this object identifies the current operational status of the VC cross-connect in one direction; (i.e., from the high to low direction). The up and down states indicate that this ATM VC cross-connect from high to low direction is operational or not operational respectively. The unknown state indicates that the state of it cannot be determined.

What is pxmAtmVcCrossConnectH2LOperStatus?

This read-only value reports the operational status, up(1), down(2), or unknown(3), of the cross-connect in the high-to-low direction, the counterpart to pxmAtmVcCrossConnectL2HOperStatus. Checking both directional status objects together tells an admin whether a PVC problem is a full outage or a one-directional fault. A PVC with the high-to-low direction down but low-to-high up would mean traffic can flow from the high-indexed interface to the low one but not back.
